Synopsis

Count upon your Friends is a picture book about a young boy named Harry. He is afraid to climb the steep basement steps to go up to his bedroom. He and his mom make a game of it by placing one of his stuffed animals on each step and counting them along the way. Once Harry is safely off to bed, an enchanted escapade ensues, and in the morning, Harry and his mom are in for a big surprise!

À propos des auteurs

Suzy Scudder was a classroom teacher for many years, and then became a math interventionist. She noticed that when kids counted backward, they often skipped the number 13, so when she retired, she wrote a counting book that goes from 1-13 both forward and backward.

Anne Bamberg was born and raised in Door County, Wisconsin, surrounded by a wonderful community rich in the arts. She received her B.F.A. at UW-Milwaukee, and currently resides in Madison, WI with her husband and two boys.
