Synopsis
A nun flies out of an airlock on Earth Space City One. The artificial intelligence Proteus is the sole witness. He does the only thing he can think of and calls his long-lost childhood friend, the reclusive Earthbound, coffee-addicted, cyber-thief, Roger Foster.
The reunion starts an odyssey that spreads across the entire solar system. The two enlist Singularity, an enigmatic hacker-spy, and a group of rogue space pirates to combat a deranged military leader who has aspirations of total system domination.
No one is safe when Proteus' clones evolve and form a cabal of A.I. angels and enter the fray. And, this is just the first book in the trilogy.
In a world with sentient artificial intelligence, it is the humans who are causing all the trouble. Humanity doesn't stand a chance.
