Synopsis
In this, the prequel to the first Marsh Adventures book, Of Times and Places, more secrets of the marsh are revealed. It is an awe-inspiring ride through the life and reign of Queen Rubyspot, and her dominion over the Kingdom of the Dragonflies. More importantly, we revisit the legend, the one told in Book One, and it is time to set the records straight. Sometimes, things are not as they seem or as they are remembered.
Meet new and interesting characters, Bolo the brown hawker, Rudd the little lady bug, Oracles the near-sighted court recorder, and Cisto...yes, the same Cisto mentioned in Book One. Lastly, and most importantly, we learn of the Generations Lost in only a way the marsh can present.
