Elena is a freelance children's writer whose stories and photographs have been published in national children's magazines. Beyond The Blue is Elena's first children's book, which she was inspired to write after reading Notes Left Behind. Elena is a teacher on Kauai where she lives, and is finalizing the Spanish version of Beyond The Blue for publication shortly. Penny Weber is a full time illustrator from Holbrook, New York. She works on photoshop creating illustrations that mimic her background in watercolors and acrylics.She has been lucky enough to illustrate many, many, many children's books.She lives with her husband and two of her three children and as of this writing she is heavily lobbying for a puppy.
