Devin is no ordinary duckling-he's only three days old, but he's already dreaming of grand adventures far beyond the pond where he was born. While most ducklings are content to splash around with their siblings and stay close to their mother, Devin gazes up at the sky, the tall trees, and the distant hills, wondering what lies out there. One morning, after hearing a bedtime story about ducks who traveled the world, Devin decides he can't wait any longer.
He's ready to explore! Despite being young and a little clumsy Devin convinces his ready, to see beyond the pond. The adventure begins with a hilarious and somewhat chaotic attempt to sneak out of the pond without their mom noticing. Along the way, they encounter funny obstacles: hopping onto lily pads that keep sinking.

Howard A. Bose started painting, inspired by magic in mundane life, as a child. As an avid student of art, he graduated from Carnegie Mellon, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and Clarion University, thus greatly expanding the possibilities for his creativity and pushing him to experiment with mediums. But the high point was probably the solo show Devin the Duck when he found his unique voice celebrating the extraordinary in the ordinary. Bose explored all these themes of emotion, self-reflection, and time in his throughout his career and consistently surpassed challenges to produce art that profoundly resonates with the world around him.
