Synopsis
It was supposed to be a simple mission: Escort the mage to the capital. After all, Samuel and his father have done jobs like this many times before. It’s a relatively safe job. The main road is only slightly infested by murderous bandits. Goblin ambushes are seldom more than a nuisance. And both Samuel and his father are technically trained experts in their roles as Warden and apprentice. What could possibly go wrong?
Everything! Now Samuel and Caleb, the failed-to-be-escorted mage, must journey halfway across the kingdom to save Samuel’s father from the clutches of the Dark Lord. Along the adventure there will be daring escapes, gobs of goblins, a stranger from another world, and…crab magic?
