R. William Parmenter was born and raised in Michigan. There, his love of writing prose and poetry cultivated, especially when the weeds of mental illness took root. As an adult, he lived and traveled around Arizona, California, Oregon, and Washington, where a love of the Pacific Northwest grew. However, his heart lies in Michigan, where he's returned to write, create art, and explore with his family.
