Ron Wiseman, Patty Wiseman's husband, was born and raised in Texas. He is the inspiration for this book. Cutter's friends Jake and Bessie are creations made by Ron, as he is the owner and artist of East Texas Metal Creations. With expert precision, he creates planters, piggy banks, patio pieces, etc. from recycled freon tanks.
