Synopsis

I'm sure you are familiar with Snow White & the Seven Dwarves, but what about the tale of the other Snow White and her sister Rose Red?

The future seemed certain for Snow and Rose as another summer drew to an end. Next year they would travel to their father's people in the far north; Rose to undertake the hunting rituals her father had been preparing her for and Snow to finally see those frozen lands of his many tales, and maybe find a hunter for herself.

Then thier father died helping to destroy an eerie of massive rocs.

A year of mourning has passed since then, with those futures delayed even further. Yet fate takes a turn as Rose is attacked by a mystical beast and an unnatural snowstorm nearly claims the girls and thier mother before they can reach home. These tragedies give way to intrigue as a thump is heard against the cottage door during the howling winds. Little could Rose have known how drastic thier futures would change when she opens that door.

Join the sisters as they host a mysterious black-and-gold bear who seems determined to find something in the snow rather than hibernate, cross paths with a prince who holds a strange connection to thier father's people, and find themselves asking a question that none of these four can answer: "What is that ungrateful little dwarf up to?"

Tim Maddox brings the classic fairy tale to life in this charming adaptation filled with steadfast persistence, ever-lurking terror, and kindness both scorned and appreciated.
