Jamie has always been a Storyteller, Writer, and Performer. At the age of twelve, Jamie Okh became a published poet and her musical composition became part of the film score in the movie, Babar. Jamie is an independent Author, Illustrator, Publisher, Marketer, and Saleswoman. She also dreams to become a cartoon and movie maker, bringing her stories to the big screen and into the hearts of her audience. Jamie's creative spark led her to become a Shakespearean Actress in high school and college, where she wrote screen plays and won acting competitions. On December 24, 2024, Jamie published her debut children's book called, "The Fun & Furry Tales of Rex: Adoption Day!" This book tells the story of how the Author adopted her beloved dog, Rex. Jamie has taken a very unique approach with this book by using photography layered with comic book pop art style graphics. The photographs of the character truly give children an intimate experience as they join three fluffy adorable pomeranian puppies on their very real journey of finding their forever family and forever home. The second book of this children's book series is called, "The Fun & Furry Tales of Rex: Puppy Love!" and will come out soon!
