Synopsis
Divinely chosen to be the first king of Israel, Saul of Gibeah deeply fears he is inadequate for the task at hand. As his people struggle on the brink of war, King Saul is forced to lead or watch as they become enslaved at the hands of surrounding enemies. Vastly outnumbered and ill-equipped, King Saul is left with few alternatives.
For Saul’s son Jonathan, however, there is only one course of action: the Israelites must fight. Raised under the tutelage of the Prophet, Samuel, Jonathan knows the promises and might of Israel's God. For Jonathan, there is no alternative.
