Synopsis

"What use are earthly riches to the condemned soul? What value do material possessions hold when eternal judgment looms? The very substances that men covet and hoard for security prove powerless against sin's dominion and death's sting."

The Crisis of Shallow Christianity: In our age of compromise and spiritual bankruptcy, the vast majority of professing Christians have never grasped the staggering cost of their redemption. They attend churches that peddle comfortable platitudes while avoiding the crimson thread that weaves through every page of scripture. They sing of grace without understanding justice, speak of love without comprehending wrath, and claim salvation without recognizing its price.

The Devastating Consequences: This biblical illiteracy has produced a generation of believers who remain spiritually immature, unable to distinguish between the shadows of the Old Testament and the substance of the New. Without understanding as the Lamb of God, they build their faith upon the shifting sands of human resolution and religious activity rather than the unshakeable foundation of godly substitution. When trials come—and they always do—such believers discover their spiritual poverty with crushing clarity. Their worship lacks depth, their gratitude rings hollow, and their confidence crumbles because they have never truly comprehended what God accomplished at Calvary.

Most tragically, they miss the magnificent scope of God's eternal plan. They treat salvation as an emergency rescue rather than recognizing it as the predetermined solution established before the foundation of the world. This ignorance robs them of the wonder that should characterize every redeemed soul and leaves them vulnerable to every wind of doctrine.

Discover the Scarlet Tapestry: The Lamb of God cuts through this spiritual fog with surgical precision, tracing the progressive revelation of as the perfect sacrifice from Genesis to Revelation. Using only the preserved text of the King James Bible, this comprehensive study unveils the sacred pattern that human authors could never have orchestrated—a pattern that testifies irrefutably to divine inspiration.

You Will Discover:

  • Abel's acceptable sacrifice and God's immutable standard for worship
  • Abraham's Mount Moriah as the prophetic foreshadowing of Calvary's hill
  • The Passover lamb and the principle that salvation requires both shedding and application of blood
  • The complete Levitical system pointing with trembling finger toward the coming Redeemer
  • Isaiah's suffering Servant in prophetic detail that staggers the imagination
  • John the Baptist's declaration marking history's pivotal moment
  • The glorified Lamb upon His eternal throne in Revelation's climactic vision

This is not comfortable Christianity that soothes wounded consciences with shallow assurances. This is biblical truth that transforms—truth that establishes the heart upon bedrock certainty rather than the quicksand of human imagination. Here you will encounter the God who appointed His beloved Son as the Lamb, demonstrating love so profound it defies human comprehension.

Perfect for:

  • Fundamental Christians hungry for deeper biblical understanding
  • Bible study groups seeking verse-by-verse exposition
  • Pastors preparing to preach redemption

From the crimson altar of Abel to the crystal throne of eternity, discover the scarlet thread that gives meaning to every sacrifice, substance to every shadow, and certainty to every promise. This is the journey from sacrifice to glory—the journey that reveals the staggering cost of your redemption and the infinite love that paid it.

À propos de l'auteur

William Thomas Irvin is, first and foremost, a man redeemed by the grace of God. After a tumultuous path that led him from his birthplace in Memphis, Tennessee, through service in the U.S. Air Force to life as a defense contractor in the deserts of Saudi Arabia, the Lord graciously confronted him with his sin in 2010. Finding the peace with God he had long sought (Romans 5:1), his life was forever changed. This newfound peace ignited a desire to serve, a path that led him from the tutelage of a missionary family to the front lines of a chapel in Afghanistan, where he had the privilege of teaching the Scriptures to soldiers. That experience opened the door to an ongoing ministry in Uganda, focused on Bible teaching and Bible translation.Today, he is a husband, a father, and the pastor of George County Baptist Church in Lucedale, Mississippi. He considers himself a nobody who has been graciously saved by a great Saviour, and his singular desire in writing this book is to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ-the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
