An authentic story of a girl raised in solitude as a prostitute's child. Traveling up and down the rocky Oregon Coast, in ragged back rooms most people never enter, Delp paints a picture that is tough and real, but with tenderness woven throughout the story. Family mysteries go unsolved and what remains is a tapestry of life; cold and warm, cruel and loving. You will never look at the Oregon Coast the same way again.

Gwen Delp lives in Bellingham, Washington with her husband, Joe. This is the first book she completed. She retired from a career in social work and administration of public assistance programs. Experiences with the populations she served and keen observation helped to create this story. Moving to Bellingham was a lifelong dream, as well as living in her 1918 home. She continues to write and is working on her sixth novel at the time of his publication.
