Priya Mary Sebastian is also the author of two adult books - a memoir/recipe book, Organic Tales From Indian Kitchens, and a Hindu/Muslim romance novel set in 1960s India, It's Hard to Run in a Sari. She has published a children's book, The Adventures of Jhansi Rani: A Pet Squirrel. The author received her bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Calicut University, Kerala (India). She has been living in the United States for the past 47 years. Priya received an MBA from Centenary College, Louisiana, in 1989. She has written many unofficial dramas for community cultural programs. She believes strongly that reading, drama, and theater play a big role in childhood development. From 2004 to the present, she has run her restaurant, International Cafe (formerly known as India Cafe), as a meeting place for people to enjoy food from all parts of the world in a gracious and cozy atmosphere.
Minz Joseph was born and raised in Chicago and now lives in sunny San Diego with her husband, Anson George, and their two adorable boys, Ira and Isaac, who are her biggest inspirations for creating fun and imaginative books like this one. Minz holds a master's degree in Biomedical Visualization and has built a career in medical communications, where she combines science, storytelling, and art to make complex ideas come to life. When she's not illustrating or designing, Minz loves running along the coast and hiking the beautiful trails near her home. She also finds joy in creating iconography for churches and religious artwork, blending her artistic skill with her deep sense of meaning and spirituality. Every piece she creates, whether scientific, spiritual, or playful, is inspired by curiosity, faith, and the endless imagination.
