Synopsis

In Goodnight Solo / Goodnight Raphael, Solo and Raphael share the same moments-but carry them differently. Solo is the one who can smile, sprint, and move on-ready for the next day, the next laugh, the next bright thing ahead. Raphael is the one who holds on-to the feeling, to the meaning, to the parts of a moment that don't leave just because the world does. As the story drifts between real days and waking dreams, small signals begin to open "doors" back into the memories that shaped them: a whistle on the field, a glow in the night, and a few unforgettable scenes that won't stay quietly in the past. Together, Solo and Raphael discover that moving on isn't the same as forgetting-and holding on isn't the same as being stuck. Tender, playful, and quietly reflective, this illustrated Whisker Tale invites kids and grownups to compare perspectives, name what they feel, and see how one friendship can hold two different ways of loving the same moment.
