The book includes eleven full-color cartoons by Matt Wuerker, who has been Politico's editorial cartoonist and illustrator ever since its 2007 launch. In 2012, Wuerker won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning. Solomon is national director of RootsAction and executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy. He is the author of more than a dozen books including War Made Invisible: How America Hides the Human Toll of Its Military Machine (2023) and has written about politics for many publications including The Hill, The Nation, the Guardian, Common Dreams, the Los Angeles Times and Salon.
