Indu Viswanathan is an educator and public scholar whose work explores the experiences of Hindu Americans and the role of faith, belonging, and cultural harmony in contemporary American life. She has taught in New York public schools and worked across teacher education, curriculum design, and research initiatives for more than two decades. She holds a master’s degree and doctorate in education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her writing brings Hindu contemplative wisdom into dialogue with American education and civic life.
