Synopsis

Meet Puddleflame.

He is a dragon. A real one. He insists.

The trouble is, real dragons breathe fire. Puddleflame breathes butterflies. Real dragons roar. Puddleflame says "meep." Real dragons strike terror into the hearts of villains and goats everywhere. Puddleflame strikes terror into exactly one goat, but only by accident.

Everyone agrees he is the worst dragon who has ever lived. The newspaper drew him as a potato with wings. A nice old lady tried to water him. He has an official letter that says PLEASE SNEEZE RESPONSIBLY, and he keeps it under his pillow.

But now something enormous and gloomy is drifting toward the Kingdom of Crumpet, eating sunlight and possibly turning into pudding, and all the brave, fiery, extremely impressive dragons are running out of fire and ideas at roughly the same speed.

Which leaves one tiny purple dragon, an alarming number of butterflies, and the single worst plan in the history of plans.

It will probably not work.

A strange and funny story about courage, friendship, and using exactly the weird gift you've been given - even if that gift is sneezing.

Warning

Contains one (1) talking potato and several professional faintings. Goat included.
