D. Patrick Dillon is a fiction writer whose work is shaped by more than two decades of experience in military law enforcement and education. He served 21 years as a military police officer, where he worked within investigative, security, and institutional systems that inform his grounded approach to crime fiction.He holds degrees in general education, instructional technology, and communication studies, with early academic focus in criminal justice. His professional background in instruction and analysis has influenced his interest in how authority, certainty, and procedure shape human behavior under pressure.Father's Day is his debut novel and the first installment in the Falcon Hollow Mysteries series. He lives in the United States.
