Synopsis

Ellen Leventhal is an author and educator in Houston, Texas. She is the mother of two grown boys and the grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren. Aside from co-writing Don't Eat the Bluebonnets with Ellen Rothberg, she is the author of several other picture books. Ellen Rothberg is a retired teacher and elementary school counselor. Her fondest career memories involved creating stories to encourage character building and guiding students in developing a positive self-image. She is the mother of two adult children and grandmother of four incredibly adorable children.

Joel Cook is an artist and illustrator from Wisconsin. His past work includes picture books, comic books, and editorial cartoons. When not in the studio, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and travel. He can now be found teaching art outside of Houston, as well as running Ghost Puppet Studios, where he aims to recreate the fun and nostalgia of his childhood.
