Synopsis
The Walker siblings were once inseparable. Blain, Miranda, Thomas and Bo – nothing could pry them apart. Then cancer ripped their mother away from them, and their father immersed himself in a clandestine career of genetic experimentation. And then the world itself unfurled, a Cataclysm of pestilence, tempest and war that decimated the population.
The siblings splintered. Blain and Miranda settled in San Francisco, where his blind ferocity and her knack for magic serve them well as bounty hunters in a lawless land. Thomas lost himself in the vast Alaskan tundra and found love, soon to be a father. Bo, the youngest, fed her wanderlust and embraced art, music and dancing, those relics of brighter days.
When their father is brutally murdered, Thomas reunites the fractured clan to track the killers, leading the Walkers into a deadly conflict with an intellectual, a grotesquerie, a sensitive giant and a sociopath. The evolving confrontation sees Thomas and company venturing to enchanted forests and mutant marketplaces, an array of adversaries, allies and clever creatures along for the turbulent ride.
A family again, Thomas and his kin are determined to avenge their father – if it doesn't kill them.
