Synopsis

The city tinged the water a deep, emerald green for the St. Patrick's Day Parade, which made the body floating through it even more gruesome. Moms' hands covered their children's eyes, as a second body came into view. A barricade of yellow crime scene tape was strung up.

Dr. Cade Ashton looked over the scene below. The unnatural, intense green of the Potomac stared garishly back at him. His mission sounded simple. Find the source of the latest infection. The CDC (Centers for disease control) gave him little to go on. For one thing they were clueless. More dead bodies are flowing down the river.

Dr. Frank Goya, who isn't who he seems, and Marla the journalist turned temporary scientific photographer try to help Cade find the source of what has killed several people. If they can't, more people will die.

À propos de l'auteur

Beth was born in the small East Texas town of Hughes Springs. My roots are there along with many relatives. My husband of 58 years and I live in Hallsville, Texas where he is a pastor. My first book, Run Or Die, was published in 2014. I retired after 28 years from working as a Microbiology Tech in 2017. I thought I would have more time to write when I retired, but I'm busier than ever with container gardening, a greenhouse, and sometimes I find time to paint.I am going to send a mock-up of two of the pictures you sent. Each was close, but I tried to put the two together. Also IF you put a picture on the back cover, a simple lab picture minus the body and with the biohazard symbol. If not that's fine. I wasn't sure.
