Synopsis

Christopher, known as the Last Templar, was a knight of the Crusades who after a betrayal broke his sacred code and defied God. For that sin, he was cursed with immortality.
For more than eight hundred years he has been through every war and atrocity in human history-bitter, relentless, and bound to a mission of reluctant redemption. He battles both the seen and the unseen worlds.
Now the modern world is beginning to notice him. Governments track his movements. Ordinary people start to idolize the myth to a startling extent. And as Christopher's long shadow falls across the present, the consequences of his existence begin to spiral beyond his control.
Penance: First Light begins the story of an immortal warrior who has spent centuries trying to atone, and now must pay the dangerous price of being seen..

À propos de l'auteur

Alejandro Caballero graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, with degrees in Music Education and Instrumental Performance, and has spent several years as a music educator and performer throughout South Florida. Though music became his profession, Alejandro has always carried a deep passion for art and storytelling, rooted in a childhood spent immersed in comics. Over the years he continued drawing and writing on the side, until the chance to assist his son, Noah Caballero, in creating a comic book character brought those long-held creative instincts fully back into focus. Together they decided to build a new universe of characters under Edge Comics, their family-owned indie publishing company. Under this banner, Alejandro is now bringing his first major works of art and story to life through the title Penance.
