Synopsis

Daniel Shute was raised in a very rural part of Maine, where he attended elementary school, high school, and college. Like his father, he has always loved nature and the beauty of the great outdoors. With his wife, Laurie, he raised three beautiful daughters, who blessed him with fiveamazing grandchildren. He took his family camping every chance he could, hoping to instill in them the same appreciation for nature.In 2000, Daniel moved to Arizona, where he met his second wife, Sigrid. With her three children and seven grandchildren, he still takes every opportunity to be out in nature, whether hiking in the desert or spending time gardening. Most often, you'll find him with one of his grandchildren, sharing amazing stories of the adventures he had when he was young. He travels back to Maine frequently, not only to see his family but also to take in all the beauty he remembers from growing up.
