Synopsis

Gold is taken from a leprechaun community. Not stolen with force. Not noticed at first. Simply gone. What follows is not a chase for treasure, but the slow unraveling of a world built on balance, belief, and boundaries meant to be ignored by those who glimpse them. As familiar systems falter and long-held roles begin to strain, four leprechauns, each bound to the unseen workings of their world, are drawn toward a reckoning they do not fully understand. Fin Oisin, a Watcher attuned to the rainbows that hold their world apart from the human one, feels the change before it can be named. Caden Hurley, a Pathfinder, finds the paths he once trusted growing uncertain. Sloan Scully, a Keeper of memory and pattern, senses gaps where continuity should exist. Maeve Brogan, a Weaver, is forced to decide when-and whether-the world still needs to be softened. As they move through forests, clearings, and fragile boundaries, it becomes clear that the danger is not the loss of gold itself, but what the world does to compensate for its absence. Quiet, mythic, and deliberately restrained, The Heart of the Rainbow is a literary fantasy about vigilance, responsibility, and the stories that endure long after truth fades into legend. Because in the end, the greatest treasure is the story.
