Synopsis

AI just rewrote the rules of building a company. The old path to success, raise more, hire more, mature slowly, is gone. The founders who win from here will not be the best funded or the best credentialed. They will be the ones who can execute, again and again, in an environment that no longer waits.

The evidence is in. The cost of enterprise-grade AI capability collapsed more than 280-fold in eighteen months. A quarter of Y Combinator's newest startups shipped code that was 95 percent AI-written, reaching millions in revenue with teams of fewer than ten. And yet MIT found 95 percent of enterprise AI pilots deliver no measurable impact, while McKinsey's own leadership now admits the work of the AI era is "80 percent business transformation and 20 percent tech transformation." The tools are no longer the constraint. The founder is. The failure was always behavioral, and now it is yours to fix.

The Founder Revolution gives you the operating system built on that truth. Inside:

  • The ATLAS-ESI, a behavioral diagnostic that maps how you and your team actually show up when the work gets hard: four dimensions, four profile types, sixteen subtypes, and no "best" type among them
  • The DELIVER Operating System, a seven-step execution architecture that carries a real initiative from first idea to arrival: Discover, Evaluate, Lock, Instantiate, Verify, Execute, Realize
  • Embedded tools for the three most common failure points: MUSIC for prioritization, PAUSE-D for decisions under pressure, and EARN for what a sponsor owes the work
  • The three pillars of the founder's new job: upgrading yourself, winning the coming run on good people, and executing in past, present, and future at once, with AI agents doing work while humans own commitments

Mark R Cooley has spent almost thirty years on every side of this problem: bank vice president, professor of strategy and critical thinking, venture-backed CEO, advisor to dozens of founders, hands-on with AI since 2017, and the executive who led the global IT transformation that helped position Seagen for its 43-billion-dollar acquisition by Pfizer. He has built with this system, killed with it, and rebuilt with it, most recently as a founder of two in the AI age. This book is the manual.

The revolution rewards the founder who can finish. Build the business, and the life, you actually want.

À propos de l'auteur

Mark R Cooley has spent almost thirty years on every side of one problem: why some people get the big things done and most don't.He started in banking at eighteen and was a vice president by his late twenties. After his MBA he jumped to startups and never really left the question alone after that. He has been a venture-backed CEO who built a company that hit every target and still died when the money behind the money failed. He has been an advisor to dozens of early-stage founders, where he learned to spot, within a few conversations, which ones would make it and which would spend years as a key looking for a lock. He has been a professor of business strategy and critical thinking at Seattle University and the University of Washington, a part-time chief strategy officer, and a co-founder of a company still operating today. On the corporate side, he led the global IT transformation that helped position Seattle Genetics, later Seagen, for its 43-billion-dollar acquisition by Pfizer, one of the largest biotech deals in history. He has worked hands-on with AI and machine learning since 2017, including some of the earliest enterprise deployments of their kind, from ML systems that collapsed a months-long cancer-research backlog to one of the first private internal GPT platforms. Then he lived his own book: laid off with a cardboard box in the rain, a deliberate year, an acquisition that died by text message, a company he built and killed on purpose, and the system that came out of all of it. The Founder Revolution is that system: the ATLAS-ESI behavioral diagnostic and the DELIVER Operating System, built for people ready to stop working for someone else's future and start executing their own.He is the founder of Future State Found. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife. Navigate what's next at futurestatefound.com.
