Ashlee Yates is a children's author based out of Scottsdale, AZ. A former elementary school teacher, wife and a devoted mother of two, Ashlee draws inspiration from her experiences in the classroom and at home. With a Master's in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism, she combines her educational background with her passion for storytelling to craft books that inspire and engage young readers.Her work uses vibrant, relatable, and very silly characters to share stories that foster a love for reading and imagination in every page. Ashlee enjoys a strong workout, snuggling up with a good book, and spending time with her family. Through her writing, Ashlee hopes to make a lasting impact on children and families, enriching their lives with laughter, love, and a whole out of fun!

Andy Catling is a professional illustrator with more than 70 illustrated titles under his belt. He has worked for many publishers such as Oxford University Press, Caterpillar books, Quarto, Harper, Lion Hudson and others in the UK and around the world. Andy loves illustrating picture books and books for older children using a more mature style. He works in traditional mediums and digital wot-nots to make artwork with a rigorous mangle-like process. If a story has dragons, knights, pirates, monsters or the like, then Andy will want to illustrate it! Andy lives in Hampshire in the UK where he spends his time well illustrating.
