About the Author
Who was Suzanne Howe? Born in Birmingham, Alabama, on June 14, 1953, Suzanne was born with cerebral palsy that affected her mobility. Faced with challenges that people with similar disabilities faced, Suzanne developed a quality in her that exhibited genuine interest and concern for those she was around whether it be friend or stranger. Always complimenting, always remembering someone's life event with cards or notes, always encouraging - everyone liked to be around Suzanne Howe Beck. This book chronicles a chapter in her life as a student at Lagrange College in Georgia, a sad chapter, as she is facing the adult years and coping with a disability while life and relationships are changing around her. Suzanne Howe married Robert Beck in 1991. She always wanted to be like her friends and now this was achieved. The couple was happily married, until her sudden passing in January, 2016. Suzanne would attribute her contentment and positive spirit to solid core values and a strong faith in God.
