We have been asking, more recently, why we need faith when so much is available in our daily lives. There is great healthcare, so, why do we need faith about healing? There are enormous government programs that support the poor and destitute when poverty is at hand, why do we need to understand God as our provider?

And, there is the understanding that at some point or other, Christ is going to return to earth and redeem all those who have believed and followed. What do we need to do and know, if we even think about such events?

Here is our question to you the Christians who are thinking about these things, do you need God? Is Christ still important to you? Are you filled with the Holy Spirit, or even know who the Holy Spirit is in your life? The question remains, who are we to God and who is God to us? Do we need God in our current lives or don't we?"

To begin to answer some, if not all, of these questions, we dive deep into God's word to find answers. Answers for today, tomorrow, and the rest of our lives. Come with us on this amazing journey of discovery into the very heart of God to know what we, believers, need to know to survive in our very modern world. These questions and more are being asked with you in mind, "Who are you, a head Christian or a heart Christian?"

Gerry Rogers, a longtime resident of the Northwest spent his early career traveling the world in the computer industry. He has spent the last twenty-five years writing on theological issues concerning the modern American church. Now retired, he continues to live in Washington where he writes on theological, cultural and social issues of the day. He is an avid baseball and Gonzaga basketball fan enjoying both whenever possible.
