Ihor Pavlyuk (born January 1, 1967) is an internationally acclaimed Ukrainian writer, poet, and scholar, officially named People's Poet of Ukraine. A survivor of Soviet-era forced labor in the Siberian taiga, he is a recipient of the English PEN Award and the Switzerland Literary Prize.
