Suzanna Alexander graduated from Tufts University in 1964 and worked as a physical therapist in a variety of settings for fifty years. After retirement and her son's death she served clients in her private office focusing on spiritual healing. Beginning in the 80's she taught workshops and gave lectures around the United States, teaching nurses and other health care providers non-pharmacological ways to reduce pain and stress. She was a trainer for childbirth educators and a noted keynote speaker for twenty years. Spiritual pilgrimages to Egypt, India, Greece, Peru, and Nepal opened her to ways of healing in other cultures. Walking the 500-mile Camino de Santiago prepared her to hear the spiritual guidance that led her through her grief walk. She lives in Georgia on a farm with her husband, Lawrence.
