Ali Yang is a children's book author, Navy veteran, and proud mom based in Colorado. Her debut picture book, The Adventures of Pork Bun and Mooncake: The Quest for the Perfect Noodle, follows two spirited siblings on a magical, food-filled journey across cultures.Ali served seven years in the Navy, living throughout the Pacific, where her love for global cuisine and storytelling was deeply shaped. She now writes stories inspired by her multiracial family, her travels, and a desire to help children feel seen and curious about the world around them.In addition to writing, Ali enjoys crocheting playful, food-inspired creations and spending time with her kids. She hopes her books and crafts spark connection, cultural pride, and joyful exploration.
Dali W. is a visual artist and illustrator, currently pursuing a PhD in Art Studies and Practice at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She holds a DNSEP (Master's degree equivalent) from the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in France and a DNAP (Diplôme National d'Arts Plastiques) with honors from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art in Limoges. Additionally, she studied graphic art the École Professionnelle Supérieure d'Arts Graphiques et d'Architecture (EPSAA) in Paris.With over 12 years of experience in the visual arts, Dali has gained international recognition, winning 35 awards and publishing in various prominent art journals. She has exhibited her works at numerous art exhibitions and festivals and has collaborated with esteemed institutions such as Zhejiang Juvenile and Children's Publishing House, Tsinghua University Press, Hunan Agricultural University, ZCool, Hiiibrand, Tencent, Guokr, Nanjing Metro, leewiART, Disney, ICCEAAC of France, Campus de France, MTL en Arts, Stella Musica, and Springer.Her artworks have been featured in many solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including in Canada, the United States, and China. Her works are held in private collections and have been published in renowned art periodicals.In addition to her studio work, Dali has actively participated in artistic residencies, lectures, and visual art workshops, sharing her expertise and unique approach. She is known for her bold exploration of artistic techniques, seamlessly blending ancient and modern, traditional and digital, and Eastern and Western styles.
