Born and raised in Southwest Virginia, Cori decided as a young teen that she wanted to become a writer who lived in a cabin in the woods. After graduating from Hollins University, falling in love with working in kitchens, and a stint in the veterinary field, she recalled that childhood dream. Cori now lives and writes in a cabin in the woods, alongside her husband and three dogs. How lucky is she?Cori also dabbles in historical fiction and writes horror under a pen name. Cori has been a professional manuscript editor for 12 years.
