À propos des auteurs

Nan Magee writes from a love of language, quiet observation, and the belief that children's stories should honor the depth of their inner worlds. A poet and lifelong lover of books, Nan draws inspiration from gardens, porches, and the small everyday rituals that bring comfort and connection. Her debut picture book, Piper's Little White Dog, grew from a poem she wrote in a local poetry class called Ode to Dog's I Have Lived With. Nan's writing is grounded in rhythm and lyricism, inviting both children and adults to slow down, listen, and share in the beauty of a well-told story. When she isn't writing, Nan can often be found rowing on the Schuylkill River.
