Diamond Legacies is a baseball simulation game for one or two players. After picking the teams, you determine the lineups and managerial strategy; die rolls and charts determine what happens on the field of play. Each ballplayer in the game represents a real player in baseball history with ability ratings based on his actual statistics.
For this volume of Diamond Legacies, the year is 1975. Ratings are provided for the major league ballplayers on each team in the American League and the National League. You can replay the epic World Series between the Cincinnati Reds and the Boston Red Sox. Or you can replay the All-Star Game from that year or any team’s entire 1975 season. You could even find out what would have happened if one of the top baseball stars was traded to another team before the start of the season. If you have the first two volumes in the Diamond Legacies series, teams from 1927 or 1934 could square off against teams from 1975.
All you need to start playing is this book and a set of percentile dice (not included). Travel back to the stadiums of 1975 and watch the diamond exploits of Joe Morgan, Jim Palmer, Rod Carew, Tom Seaver, Fred Lynn, Pete Rose, George Brett, Nolan Ryan, Johnny Bench, and Reggie Jackson. These legends and all the other big league players from 1975 are ready to take the field again!
