A propos de cet article

FIRST AMERICAN EDITION of this scarce collection of speeches, many of them ex tempore and or on the radio, during Macdonald's, October of 1929, tour of the United States seeking public support for his approach to relations between England and the United States. This visit was in the early years of his second stint as Prime Minister of Great Britain and his charisma and oratorical expertise seemed to have won the day. With forward by Ambassador Charles Dawes and an introduction by Henry Stimson. Red cloth HARD COVER, very solid with lightest corner bumps, some stains on the front board. Inside there is a signature at top of front inside board, otherwise bright and clean. 157 pages. ENG 011917. LIVEZEY.

Description de la boutique

We had an open shop in the Northwest section of Philadelphia in the Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy neighborhood for 18 1/2 years. It was in a beautiful 1882 train station designed by the noted architect, Frank Furness. In August of 2014, we closed that shop but continue to sell on-line out of our home in Williamsburg, PA. We'd love to have you visit our 8,000 plus books, by appointment.
