Glossy b&w/color pictorial dust jacket. Plain white endpapers. [ii] blank, [6], 7-253, [254] final page of text. Author's foreword. Condition notes: a notably worn but solid ex-library copy, with the typical array of stamps and yellowed tape, with a bonus offering of random stains. Dust jacket is the standard (unattributed) cubist/abstract pattern, with the yellow tone rather than red or blue. Unclipped price of $4.95 to tail front flap (along with "Eighth Printing" statement, matching the statement to copyright page). Spine ends rolled, corners bumped. Spine cocked, binding remains sound, with no showing of binding mesh fabric. Black sharpie author name to tail textblock edge. Dime-sized dark stain to head forecorner ffep, bleeds through four sheets before fading away. A still-appreciated mid-century work of post-nuclear apocalypse sci-fi.
