À propos de l'auteur: Marc Aurel Stein (1862-1943) was a Hungarian archaeologist who spent much of his life in the service of the British Empire in India. In the early years of the 20th century he conducted a series of important Central Asian expeditions traversing virtually the whole of the North-West frontier - territory not previously accessible to Europeans.
