Description :
Original 1852 volume of Fowler's "The American Phrenological Journal." The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. The covers have some mild wear. There are a few inches of cracking to the front outer leather joint, but the binding is still good and sound. There is a bookplate adhered to the front pastedown. The pages are lightly toned from age with some scattered foxing. Along with that, there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a creased page corner, tiny chip or tear, minor stain or marking, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 11 3/4 inches by 9 1/4 inches and contains the issues from January 1852-December 1852.
