A laboratory manual which may be used with any text on physical geography. Features include initial laboratory exercises, with each exercise organized in the same sequence: introduction to the subject of the exercise, key terms and concepts, objectives - skills and knowledge to be gained, materials/sources needed to complete the exercise, and lab exercise and activities in step-by-step sections, with specific numbered questions and activities to complete. Two world maps are provided: the Koppen climate classification system, and global biomes, Earth's terrestrial ecosystems.
This laboratory manual helps students apply essential geographic principles, methods, and tools to better understand Earth and its systems. The manual augments the material traditionally covered in the lecture portion of a Physical Geography course. This lab manual can be used with any Physical Geography textbook.
