Soleri’s book about his extraordinary eco-modernist creation in the deserts of Arizona. Arcology was a term he adopted to describe the concept of how architecture and ecology might work as one to produce new urban inhabitants. Now a place of pilgrimage for many. The book is landscape folio, thick card covers, pp.132 with many of the architect’s sketches, drawings, plans and concepts reproduced in b/w. Scarce book – reprint of first which came out in 1969.
