The third edition, published by James Knapton, London in 1714. Title page, [9p] preface, [5p] contents list, 140 pages, 3 folding plates and 4 folding tables. A complete copy of this famous work, the pages and plates now very lightly browned with age. Re-backed many years ago using very dark grey leather and the original brown leather covered boards. Leather to all edges chipped and worn, the leather somewhat marked in places. Overall a very good, and complete, example of the third edition. (. N° de réf. du vendeur K4327
