It is an essential and powerful tool in leading man towards progress. Without systematic research there would have been very little progress. In academics, research can take many forms such as pure theoretical research, applied research, exploratory or grounded research, explanatory research, quantitative research,qualitative research, empirical research, desk research, field research, and mixed research.
