A propos de cet article

JUD 039073 The Soncino Press Babylonian Talmud seems to have a complicated publishing history. As near as I can tell by looking at the Biographical History, this volume was published some time around 1961. It is volume III of the SEDER MO'ED and contains YOMA , translated into English with notes, glossary and indices by Jung. It has 481 pages. The second part of the book is The SUKKAH, which has 304 pages and is translated into English with notes, glossary and indices bySlotki. The final section is The BEZAH, transalted into English with notes, glossary and indices by Ginsberg and has 228 pages. This edition is all in English. It has red boards with gilt titles on spine. Top edge is gilt. Two ribbons within. In very good and tight condition.

We had an open shop in the Northwest section of Philadelphia in the Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy neighborhood for 18 1/2 years. It was in a beautiful 1882 train station designed by the noted architect, Frank Furness. In August of 2014, we closed that shop but continue to sell on-line out of our home in Williamsburg, PA. We'd love to have you visit our 8,000 plus books, by appointment.
