Biographie de l'auteur: Rev. Dr. Eugene J Weitzel, C.S.V.. a member of the Clerics of St. Viator, received his doctorate (S.T.D.) from the Catholic Univer-sity of America. He also has degrees in education and religious education. He has taught at every level of education, served as a hospital chaplain and a pastor at St. Alexius Chuch in Beards-tsown and St. Fidelis Church in Arenzville in in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. Father has also published two sacra-mentaries for visually handicapped priests. He also edited and contributed to three books on liturgy and moral theology. Fr. Weitzel, hss written tis book, to urge the Catholic Church to cease requiring priest to take a solemn vow of celibacy and allow candidates for the priesthood to marry and raise a family.
