A propos de cet article

1970 Alfred A. Knopf (New York), rebound in 5 1/4 x 8 1/4 inches tall full leather, gilt ruling to front and rear covers, six raised bands, gilt design and lettering to spine, vii, 206 pp. Slight soiling and rubbing to covers. Slight staining to lower margins of first few pages of the prefatory material. As he trots the globe, promotes himself, and lurches from one woman?s bed to another?s, Bech views life with a blend of wonder and cynicism that will make followers of the lit-biz smile with delight and wince in recognition.…
