Original yellow cloth boards, with red vignette of a dear on front, very gently rounded at corners and head and heal of backstrip. Unclipped dust jacket, lightly rubbed at edges and around sunned spine. Half-title page inscribed "Much love bless you. Very heavy reading for a May heatwave Noel, 1959". The recipient was Rita Smith who, for many years, was the author's secretary and typist. DJ now protected in archival quality clear film sleeve. Part of the publisher's "Antelope" series of books.
