Here at last: a children's Bible that combines the action and excitement young readers crave with the clarity of Catholic biblical scholarship. Every book of the Old and New Testament comes to life through over 140 illustrations, seven maps, historical notes, and a detailed timeline. Through these pages march the colorful events and stories of salvation history, shown in relation to the civilizations and cultures that helped to shape God's people. Special emphasis is placed on the Gospels, with clear explanations of their distinctive qualities.
