Half-Leather. Etat : Good. First Thus. Two volumes bound as one: Bird-Architecture (SPUK, 1853, 304 pp.), Bird Miscellanies (Cox, 1847, 386 pp.). Brown pebbled cloth, originally 1/2 leather, rebacked in black cloth tape with handwritten title, leather corners showing exposed tips and surfaces considerably rubbed. Lacking front flyleaf, opening on to title page, with cloth tape repair to front hinge obscuring approx. 10% along binding edge; rear hinge also repaired. 304,386 pp., illus. w/ several reproduced engravings. Beyond the obvious cosmetic flaws, shows a clean text block showing just a bit of toning, with firm binding. Size: 24mo - over 5" - 5¾" tall. Ex-Library. N° de réf. du vendeur 012031
