Issue number 10-68 of the May 13, 1968 4-page labor brochure "Memo from Cope", promoting the candidacy of Hubert Horatio Humphrey, nicknamed "3-H" by them. Penned in blue ink at the upper left is a bitter note by Spiro Agnew, then Governor of Maryland, addressed to his chief of staff Arthur J. The brochure is folded for mailing with the mailing label addressed to "Hon S T Agnew" at the Governors Mansion, Annapolis, MD. There is minor soiling along the top edge of the brochure, else near fine. The brochure lists George Meany as Chairman.Arthur J. Sohmer (1926-1991), was Chief-of-Staff to Vice President Spiro T.
